Maybe I am just not seeing it right, but comparing the folder names against releases of the same title on MiniNova.org and ThePirateBay.org they are a match. From a site like Engadget (big fan btw) who act as Journalism 2.0 they could at least review their articles and remove the pirated downloaded folders away from view. Just backups right?

Being a fan of Engadget I feel a bit weird seeing they support piracy by publishing in their articles screenshots of the comparison between the old MBP and the new LEDs on the new Mac Book Pro's, which included folders with titles from pirated movies releases such as Stomp the Yard, The Marine 2006 (The Marine[2006][Unrated Edition]DvDrip[Eng]-aXXo for example), and Ghost Rider. I've left a little note in their contact form to point this out to them, and I hope they at least review their screenshots in the future and remove the piracy before calling themselves journalists again.

I am sure they will hide behind the argument of fair use, or owning the full retail at home. But these are still illegally distributed copyrighted material and there's still a law that forbids it. One I am not a huge fan of myself, especially with the way we deal with digital media has changed, and with DRM being pure evil.

I just thought to blog this so my friends could go check it out, because I simply noticed it. Nothing personal against Engadget.
