Sunday Walk

After doing some support for vBulletin.com in the early morning I decided to take a break and stretch my legs. I quickly noticed it was around 7:30 in the morning. I looked outside and the sun was coming up, and the sky was starting to look crystal clear. Time for a walk?

A quick drink of water and some stretching and off I was, into the upcoming sun. It was a bit moist so the park looked beautiful. One of the first things I thought to myself: a) What a shame I did not bring my camera, b) What a shame I don't do this every morning, and c) What a shame there aren't more people doing this. It was so nice and quiet, peaceful, and relaxing. After 20 minutes I found a bench and took a small pause. While sitting in the park I met this nice girl who was walking her dog and we had a short talk. When I started walking again I noticed the wind was less and temperature was already rising. It's going to be a very good day today. On the way back I felt motivated to try my best each day to have an early morning walk. Perhaps some jogging from time to time. Hopefully I can keep my own promise.

One thing I did not anticipate was that my walking shoes (special sport gyms for jogging that support back of foot) haven't been used in a while. And just before I got back home I felt the little sting and surely a blister followed. Darn. I guess my walk tomorrow will be with a wrapped in foot to stay comfortable. I guess over time the sensitivity to getting blisters will get less when I start using the shoes more and more.

If you are not having daily walks yet .. step away from the computer and pay some attention to your body and soul.
